Smarter Notes & More Rewarding Progress
This update improves how users organize and understand their work inside Forge Platform. Tasks can now be viewed in a cleaner Kanban-style layout grouped by status, making it easier to see what is not started, in progress, blocked, on hold, or completed. Notes and tasks can also be linked together, so users can quickly understand which notes are connected to specific work items.
The task sharing experience was improved with a simpler Copy URL action that copies the actual task link, while supported editors can paste it as a clickable task title. Quick Note buttons were also made clearer, helping users understand when they are creating a fast note versus opening the full note editor.
On the gamification side, XP and level-up feedback is now more visible, giving users a more satisfying sense of progress when they complete work and reach a new level.
Added a new Kanban-style task card view where tasks are grouped by status columns, making it easier to scan, filter, and manage work across Not Started, In Progress, On Hold, Completed, and other task statuses.
Added support for linking project notes with related tasks, allowing users to see task references from notes and related notes directly inside task details for better project context.
Added user-facing XP and level-up feedback so users receive a clearer visual celebration when they gain enough XP to reach a new level, making the gamification system feel more rewarding
Admins can now connect issues to the tasks and notes related to their resolution.
Issue-related tasks and notes can now be found faster through search.
Tasks can now show which issues they are connected to.
Updated the Task Detail Copy URL action to copy the actual task URL as plain text, with rich text support where available so supported editors can paste it as a clickable task title link.
Improved the visibility and labeling of Quick Note and Quick Child Note actions so users can better understand when they are creating lightweight notes versus opening the full note editor.
Issues are now easier to report, manage, and follow from creation to completion.
The Notes area now has a searchable task selector for linking related tasks.
The static Knowledge Base Tips card was removed from the Notes area.
Search text inside relation selectors is now readable in both light and dark mode.
