Detailed Body

This release consolidates major improvements validated in staging across platform security, scoped permissions, Vault integrations, documentation, onboarding, navigation, profiles, and engagement features. The update strengthens Forge’s production foundations while making the platform easier to use, understand, and integrate with external applications.

Added

Account-level Vault access for applications

Applications can now use fva1 Account Vault Access credentials to retrieve authorized secrets across accessible Workspaces. This reduces the need to maintain a separate machine token for every Vault entry while preserving Workspace membership and Vault permission checks.

Improved Vault developer experience

Forge now includes expanded Vault integration documentation and a private Python reference project for developers. The guides cover secure credential injection, structured secret bundles, individual and batch requests, token rotation, error handling, and reusable client implementation patterns.

Smarter navigation and Quick Launcher

The Quick Launcher now provides actions based on the current Workspace, Project, or Task context. Relevant destinations such as Kanban View, Table View, and Archived Tasks are easier to identify and access, with smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness.

Modernized profiles and progression

User profiles now provide a cleaner showcase for badges, mastery progression, completed work, and contribution statistics. Gamification, mission selection, and achievement presentation have also been refined while protecting information from inaccessible Workspaces and Projects.

Changed

Refreshed onboarding and platform documentation

The onboarding experience and Forge Wiki have been updated to reflect the platform’s current functionality. New user and developer learning paths make it easier to understand Workspaces, Projects, permissions, Vault access, and recommended platform workflows.

Fixed

Complete editing for structured Vault secrets

Existing Key-Value Vault bundles can now be explicitly revealed and fully loaded into the editor. Authorized users can update keys and values, add new pairs, remove obsolete pairs, and save the complete encrypted bundle without exposing secrets during normal page loading.

Security

Strengthened scoped permissions and privacy

Forge now applies clearer authorization boundaries between platform, Workspace, Project, and resource-level permissions. Private Projects, Tasks, Notes, Wiki pages, Vault entries, and user activity remain visible only to users with the appropriate access.
